Est. 4 January 2008

It's a girl! My parents have added another child to their family with the marriage of Karen to Adam a week or so ago. They were married in Nauvoo on the Illinois tundra. Here's them before:
and after:

They look so happy and so in love, and I'm so happy for them. The two strangest things: seeing my brother with a wedding ring on his left hand (totally wiggin'!), and hearing Karen's married name for the first time. The coolest thing of the whole trip: Karen and Adam's first dance. It only took a few days for someone to slam it on YouTube. Check it out for yourself, and then be jealous that you didn't think of it first. I know I am.

Welcome, Karen! We're glad you're one of us now!

I'm it

The pictures are still on the camera from the wedding, the dishes are in the sink, I still haven't unpacked all the way, but I've been tagged by my friend Celeste, so now you get to hear me talk more about myself. I'm sure you're waiting with baited breath.

5 Things People Probably Don't Know About Me
This is going to be hard. I'm sure at least one of you is going to already know at least one of these things. I'm so into sharing.
1. As an usher I closed a door during a performance that resulted in an actor cutting his head open on it, going to the hospital, and a stand-in having to read from the script for the rest of the performance. Then dealing with the whole department saying, "I just don't know how that door got closed."
2. I don't like raw fish
3. I do like seaweed
4. I have a specific routine for picking out clothes in the morning so as to make decisions as quickly as possible.
5. I have a hard time making decisions

The people I choose are Tawny, Nora, Ashley, Karen, and Shawn. These are people I'd like to learn more about. I either don't know you very well, or I haven't heard from you in a while. Ready ... GO!
